This was a wonderful brewery with a very strong & perhaps solely focused on barrel aging. I have to admit, this was a quick stop & we had plenty other breweries to visit so we couldn't drink too much & stay too long.
The walk in is like walking into the bottom of a mansion with a great vibe. They have a food truck & a large seating area outside. If ever back this way, I intend to call in for a longer visit for sure.
The staff was very helpful & kind to us when we asked for samples.
Outstanding is the word we used to describe their beers! Nice they have the food trailer there as well. They are dog friendly for outside seating.
We love these guys! Excellent brewery with great people. The Barley wine (15%) and the smoked stout were outstanding. So good. A cool place.
Love this place! Old barrels make for a great ambiance. Tons of sours on tap. Four samples per flight. Fantastic outdoor terrace under the protection of trees. Stouts were too sweet for my liking, but plenty of well crafted IPAs and sours to choose from.
Have never tried a sour beer. They were very helpful in picking out my flight! The vibe is amazing. Could not recommend more!
I'm not a huge fan of their beer, but the location is awesome and they get rave reviews. Just more of a NE IPA guy :)
We've been in the New England area a couple months and we've really been missing heavy stouts; this place is legit! One of the best barleywines I've tried and the stouts are fantastic. Also tried a few sours, which were very good. Great atmosphere and will have to try the food truck on a return trip. Highly recommended if you're a big fan of big stouts!
Easily one of the best breweries in the area. Great mix of beer styles and ABV levels... and I've yet to have one that wasn't very good. The barrel aged Impy Stouts and Barleywines are my favorites. Some of these are among the best examples I've ever tasted.
